Ti-Basic Color Sort on monochrome calculators
Hello! As this is the first post in Programming section of the forums, I think that I ought start with an old classic: Color sort! Now, you may ask: But aren't monochrome calculators only able to display one color? Where are the others? Actually, I plan to use numbers instead of colors for now, since it's a vanilla Ti-Basic program, but I might use ASM libs in the future.

Yeah, I would love the eye candy 😋 Anyway, this sounds like a cool idea for the TI-84 (or any other calculator you wish to use), and I believe it's been done multiple times on the 84+CE. For example, I created liquid sort CE in ASM, as you can see here. It was also done in basic in 2022 (which I know thanks to tiplanet members). This sounds like a fun project, and an especially challenging one to do on a monochrome calc. Good luck with your project, and maybe it can go into the news section by august :O
Well, it's still in the very early stages, but sure, some eye candy :)
To clarify, the series of calculators I'm using is the Ti83(84)(+)/(SE). :)
Any recent progress on this game? Did you manage to get some ASM libs working? 😄 Also, if you're still working on this game what is the layout going to look like?
I'm not working on this anymore, though I am working on an Axe program on a Befunge (https://esolangs.org/wiki/Befunge) interpreter. ;)
